Welcome to the Illinois Agricultural Experiment Station

Welcome to the Illinois Agricultural Experiment Station and the Office of Research Web Site, your portal into a cornucopia of cutting edge research programs and projects which strive to make the our College globally preeminent and locally relevant. Research initiatives in the areas of bioenergy, biotechnology, integrated landscapes, environmental sustainability, food and agricultural systems, global climate change, family resiliency, public policy and much more are highlighted.

Almost 300 scientists contribute to this diverse and impressive College research portfolio. Our research teams are nationally and globally recognized and have garnered substantial external support from Federal agencies. Our office, located at 211 Mumford Hall, is the hub for all research projects which cross all 7 departments in the college. Our office will facilitate and foster your programs and help you build a successful research career. We are also the seat of ACES Global Connect, the international arm of the College and can help you make connections to broaden work in the global arena.
