Academy of Teaching Excellence Membership

Five faculty are appointed annually to three-year terms. These five consist of the recipients of the College Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching, the Senior Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching, the Karl E. Gardner Outstanding Undergraduate Advisor Award, and two at-large faculty appointed by the Dean upon recommendation of the Associate Dean and the Director of Academic Programs. The Dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences and the Associate Dean for Academic Programs will be ex officio members of the Academy.

In the event an Academy member retires or leaves the University, a replacement will be appointed to complete the term. The Associate Dean for Academic Programs will consider the diversity of academic disciplines represented on the Academy when recommending the at-large appointments.
