Clients within the College of ACES enjoy an approximately 20% discount on Web site hosting packages and additional solutions. The "base" pricing is available to other clients wishing to utilize our redundant and robust Web infrastructure environment. All prices reflect the yearly price.

Web Site Hosting Packages

Basic Web Site (ACES $220 / Base $275)

• Web Server: Apache HTTP Server or Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
• Host OS: Linux or Windows
• Server Side Scripting: limited to ITCS provided scripts
• Disk Space: 250 MB
• Maintenance Access: SFTP/SCP
• Data Backup: daily with four week retention
• DNS Registration: single UIUC domain included for site

Intermediate Web Site: Linux Apache (ACES $320 / Base $400)

• Web Server: Apache HTTP Server
• Host OS: Linux
• Server Side Scripting: Perl, PHP, Python, ColdFusion
• Disk Space: 500 MB
• Maintenance Access: SFTP/SCP
• Data Backup: daily with four week retention
• Site Statistics: provided within disk space allotment
• DNS Registration: single UIUC domain included for site
• Add-ons: available as described in additional solutions section

Intermediate Web Site: Windows IIS (ACES $320 / Base $400)

• Web Server: Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
• Host OS: Windows
• Server Side Scripting: Perl, ASP, ColdFusion
• Disk Space: 500 MB
• Maintenance Access: SFTP/SCP
• Data Backup: daily with four week retention
• Site Statistics: provided within disk space allotment

Starter Drupal Package (ACES $455 / Base $570)

• Includes all features of Intermediate Web Site: Linux Apache (see above)
• Includes one MySQL database
• Additional add-ons available as described in additional solutions section

Additional Solutions

• 250 MB increments in storage space (ACES $25 / Base $30)
• Configuration of additional hostname (ACES $35 / Base $45)
• First SQL database (ACES $135 / Base $170)
• Additional SQL database (ACES $90 / Base $115)
• Permit Microsoft Access databases* (ACES $180 / Base $225)

*Server side scripting with Microsoft Access databases can be a detriment to server stability. As such we recommend that a SQL database be utilized when a database is desired.
