ITCS offers wide-ranging photographic services to college and U of I Extension, including:
Please contact us as soon as possible in the planning stages of any project that requires photography. Our primary service is photography for publication, taken both in the studio and on location. Our photography is used in annual reports, brochures, and newsletters as well as displays, multimedia applications, and Web projects. We also offer copy services and custom imaging. Our photographers travels the state to capture images of U of I Extension activities and college programs. We can take environmental portraits, document laboratory or field research, or take candid photographs that add that extra dimension needed in a quality brochure or other publication. The soft-light day-light balanced copystand is an excellent environment for photographing tissue culture and other biological specimens. ITCS maintains an image archive of black-and-white negative and print files, and color slide files. Original negatives date back to 1965. Black-and-white prints and duplicate slides are available from these originals for your use. We digitized a portion of this collection and have an image database with searchable thumbnails. Email us for details. ITCS also offers portrait sittings three to four times a semester. Dates are announced in advance; appointments can be made by calling 217.333.9435. If you can schedule 20 to 25 people during a single day, ask about making special arrangements. Services are charged at an hourly rate. Please see ITCS Hourly Charges for Services for details. For most services, clients pay for all out-of-pocket expenses (film stock and processing, digital services, travel, equipment rental, etc.)
