Breaking news and research results are featured on the ACES News site. Maintained by the News and Public Affairs section of ITCS, the site includes news stories originating in the college in the areas of agriculture, consumer and family concerns, community issues, the environment, gardening and pet care. The weekly crop outlook is also posted on the site.

The ACES News site also features calendar and other resources of particular interest to professional media outlets and offers a subscription service to automatically email the latest stories in user-selected areas.

Pubs Plus catalog

The Pubs Plus catalog provides one-stop shopping for the myriad of publications and associated media produced by subject-matter experts within the College of ACES and U of I Extension.

Instructional Materials catalog

The Instructional Materials catalog lists hundreds of titles of interest to educators at all levels. ITCS Instructional Materials is a nationally recognized source for subject-matter units, filmstrips, slide sets, transparencies, computer programs, full-color booklets and manuals, and self-contained agriscience kits.

Audio and computer conferencing

ITCS maintains a digital audio conferencing system with sophisticated data transmission capabilities in addition to conventional voice conferencing. Experienced staff also coordinates the satellite uplink/downlink needs of ACES and Extension Faculty and staff. Downlinks are conveniently located in many Extension offices around the state and satellite feeds can be routed to many classrooms and lecture halls.
